What are your thoughts on the concept of living a very long life?
Mortality is terrifying, right? It’s something I’ve kind of shrugged off in my younger years, perhaps neglecting to take care of myself properly while playing video games and avoiding what we call “real life”. Nothing better than junk food, fizzy drinks and sitting around on my ass all day!
But hey. I’m 40 this year (eek) and things like this start to bubble in your mind. When you start to lose relatives and your niece is approaching her teenage years, you know something is going on! I would say I’m sliding into a midlife crisis and want a Mustang… but I’ve always wanted a Mustang so I guess that’s fine?

I guess living a long life would be nice, but really it depends on how knackered your meat vehicle gets over the years, how the world changes and how society feels about helping you out when you’re hobbling about as an oldie! I personally wouldn’t fancy living for too long in a war-filled world, or one that was permanently on fire or something!
But if some kind of miracle happened, and the world of the future was a cool, utopian one, then why not? I’d dodder about my forest cabin or mountain home and just watch the world below being totally awesome, looking after each other and being nice to animals and stuff.

That was more or less on subject, so great success! Hope you enjoyed my thoughts… What do you think of living a long life? Yay or nay?
